NLMS Membership
We want to welcome you to the Northwest Louisiana Medical Society. We are happy you are here and hope that by experiencing one of our events you will find Value in membership and JOIN! We host several events throughout the year in an effort to provide networking opportunities, continuing medical education and political advocacy. Some members get involved in every aspect; others choose an area that fits their interests. We are all physicians; we all know the demands and successes of our profession and the medical society allows us to come together as a group and celebrate those successes or discuss opportunities to meet the demands. |
Political Advocacy: We are stronger in numbers. It is important to come together for physicians’ rights. Having Gov Edwards provide a Legislative update at our Sept meeting is a prime example. |
Networking Opportunities: With other physicians, such as our Oyster Roast, Crawfish Boil, Tennis Mixer & Book Club. |
Educational Speakers: To inform members of current events pertaining to medicine, such as “Integrative Medicine” and “Rules and Regulations of Medical Marijuana in Louisiana” |
